Welcome to the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District!  We currently serve over 24,000 students and are in the unique position of serving two communities, the community of La Mirada and the community of Norwalk.  We have 18 elementary schools (12 in Norwalk and 6 in La Mirada), 7 middle schools (4 in Norwalk and 3 in La Mirada) and 3 comprehensive high schools (2 in Norwalk and 1 in La Mirada).  In addition, we have an award winning continuation high school, adult schools in both communities, and a full site dedicated to Head Start/State Pre-school with satellite classes at other sites.
